How It Started

Sometime in the year 2000, SVD members and lay people met under the Secretariat for Social Communications,

Philippines Central Province, headed by Fr. Bel San Luis, SVD.

The group decided to put up a foundation named Mission Communications Foundation, Inc. (MCFI) in order to implement the objectives of SVD media apostolate in the Philippines Central Province.
In addition, our game in house testing processes, including testing of the RNG.
With permission from the SVD Central Province, the group submitted the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws of MCFI to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

On December 12, 2000, MCFI was granted approval.

MCFI launched its first TV project in 2001 with the airing of the "Seven Last Words" on Good Friday and every year thereafter.
